The Canary (2019)
Follow the flock or cross the line? Capitalism is sleeping with one eye open, and always looking over your shoulder.
Built upon a movement score, The Canary is a performance that focuses on the supervision of capitalism the its colonial history. Mimicking the 1984 mode of society, our protagonist enters a systematic grid where everyone is subjected to a rigid set of rules to survive. How will the system react to this unexpected invasion? Will the outsider be disciplined ?
