Golden Dragon (2015)

An adaptation of Roland Schimmelpfennig’s play Golden Dragon. This play takes place at a Chinese-Vietnamese-Thai restaurant called Golden Dragon, where a young Chinese kitchen-hand is experiencing agonizing toothache.

In this adaptation, each performer takes on multiple roles and creates a magical performative language where the young plays the old, the man plays the woman, and the human plays the animal.
